Man...this thing is still here?!

Well, Kimber pointed out to me that I hadn't blogged in awhile...which means, I've lost all my readers

You had readers?

Of course I did...at least, people said they read it

Well, then I bet you're right...no one is checking this...perhaps we
should consider this a test post?

How so?

Well, if no one reads it, then we don't have to feel
obligated to continue posting again.

Sounds good. :) So, where was I?

You were about to tell everyone about your weird day

Oh yeah.

So, this morning, I woke up from this dream (it's a good thing I did too, because I'd forgotten to set my alarm and I woke up at 7...and have to be at work by 730). Anywho, what's important is the dream. In my dream, Jess asked me to get a prophetic word for this girl. She wrote her name down for me, and I can still picture it (sort of). I saw it upside-down, so it's hard to translate from this faint image to what it really is. I know the name was pronounced "Amy" but it was spelled wierd. Either "Amee" or "Imee" or something to that effect.

So, I get a prophetic word for this girl in my dream (who, btw, isn't there when I get the word or give it...). I saw that she'd been through a very rough time, but that she had had the wing of an eagle over her, protecting her during her young years, but that she was about to leave the protection of that wing. However, in replacement of the protection of the wing, she was given a cloak of protection, which would allow her to go behind the enemy's lines and seek out the weak spots of the enemy so that she could deliver this information to the warriors of Heaven (wow, there was more revelation in there than I had this morning).

At the end of the vision, within the dream, I had also seen this girl teaching/training little girls to swim, while she herself was little also, which God revealed to me, in my vision within my dream, that it was due to the leadership that he had placed into her.

So, I wake up with this dream trying to retell it to myself (because I don't have time to sit down and write it out...cause I'm running late), but at the same time of trying to tell it to myself, I keep dazing out in the shower because I'm not focusing on getting clean and getting ready for work. It was weird.

So, I get to work, and the 730 crew who had Friday off is learning about all the Fire Trucks and such that were at Saint Rose on Friday morning. I had Fri off, and remember seeing just a few around 245 when Jen and I drove by. Well, come around 8am, a fellow employee (who is an intern and a few years younger than me) asks if I knew the firefighter that died and they had a service for. My gut reaction was "nope" even though I didn't know who it was at all. Well, then she gives me his name and I was like, "What?!"

He was a classmate of mine and died last Saturday while responding to a call. You can read up on the story at: http://www.ksby.com/news/headlines/1677076.html

It was just weird after that. He was my age. Going about his normal work routine and the next thing you know, he dies. I didn't even know him all that well, but it's just like, I feel drained because of it. If you guys could pray for Chris' family, especially his wife of 6 months, that would be awesome...I'm sure they could use the support. And, while you're at it, pray for me that God would reveal to me what he's been putting on my heart for the last few days.

Anywho, I gotta get going. Talk with you all later!!
